Capoliveri: a mountain biking paradise
Capoliveri has been one of the mountain biking capitals of Elba Island for decades, thanks to a network of trails and dirt roads around Monte Calamita, all marked and maintained by Capoliveri Bike Park. With around 150 km of routes suitable for all levels, from easy trails to challenging black runs, the area is perfect for both e-bikes and traditional mountain bikes.
Recognized as one of the best biking areas in the world, Capoliveri hosted the Italian Championships and the World Championships in 2021, and every year it hosts the famous Legend Cup, an event that attracts bikers from all over the world.
Cycling here means riding through pine forests, Mediterranean scrub, ancient mines, and arriving at enchanting beaches with crystal clear sea always on the horizon, for a unique experience combining sport and nature.

But Capoliveri is not just about land: its beaches are also the ideal starting point for water sports.
Windsurfing, sailing, and Hobie Cat schools offer courses for all levels, as well as board and SUP rentals.
Diving centers, on the other hand, organize
dives and guided excursions to discover seabeds rich in fauna and flora, allowing you to experience the sea of Elba in all its beauty. The
Corsaro Diving Center, famous for having been the base and support for the great divers Jaques Mayol and Umberto Pelizzari, is located right on Pareti beach.
