Pareti beach and the Costa dei Gabbiani

Its sheltered location, amenities and shallow waters make Pareti a beach suitable for families with children and for those who love comfort and water sports. Separated from its sister beach Morcone by a small promontory, it is a sandy beach about 200 metres long, sunny until sunset. On either side of the main beach are two other small beaches, accessible via the rocks or by swimming.

The private beach of the Villa Miramare Apartments
In front of the apartments, we have a private area of the beach for our guests. The beach, supervised by a lifeguard, is equipped with sun loungers and parasols, and canoes and pedal boats can also be hired here. Contact us to reserve a place on the beach.

It is an ideal place for those who enjoy diving, as it is very close to the most interesting diving areas on the Island of Elba. The name Pareti takes us back in time to the days of Jaques Mayol and Umberto Pellizzari, who chose this bay on Elba Island as their base for setting their freediving records, relying on the support of the Corsaro Dive Centre, which still offers tank refills and equipment hire as well as deep-sea excursions and diving courses.

Off the coast of Pareti are the islets of Cerboli and Gemini, while continuing along the eastern coast of Monte Calamita, amid scenes of natural beauty and traces of ancient mining activity, lies the Costa dei Gabbiani (Seagulls Coast) with some of the island's most beautiful beaches in terms of water quality, most of which can be reached by sea or mountain bike.

You can hire motorboats at the nearby beaches of Morcone and Innamorata.
